Digitalization, New Work and Generation Z: Practical Recommendations for Businesses

At the interactive workshop hosted by DoDifferent AG and Exolynk in Wetzikon, the focus was on the challenges and opportunities surrounding Generation Z, digitalization, New Work, participation, appreciation, and purpose. Together, participants explored practical approaches for how companies with on-site work environments can successfully adapt to the changing world of work.

The workshop centered on concrete recommendations for SMEs and organizations — from modern leadership culture and flexible working models to digital process automation, greater employee participation, and appreciation in everyday work life. Supported by digital tools, anonymous voting, and artificial intelligence, relevant trends were identified and innovative solutions were discussed.

The workshop clearly demonstrated that digitalization is not only relevant for large corporations. Even simple digital solutions and low-code automation can significantly improve efficiency, reduce administrative workload, and strengthen collaboration. At the same time, it became evident that the future of successful companies lies in a modern corporate culture that connects people, technology, and meaningful work.
